Paper or Plastic: Whether to reuse or recycle?

Even though the argument still stands of which is better to support: "Paper or Plastic?" If you do not already own the portable cloth bags we have a few idea's or tips to help you become more Eco-friendly with your pet waste. We'd like to run those heaping pile of bags to the recycle bin at our local grocery store each month. We even smack ourselves on the forehead each time we see the "Recycle your plastic grocery bags here!" bin as you walk through the local grocery store.
Of course the next best thing to Recycling as we all should know is Reduce or Reuse. The current or any every day economical crisis can leave your family limited on funds or Pondering the cost effectiveness of being 'Eco-friendly'...well now you can! Reusing those bags you use at the grocery store: whether paper or plastic!
Forget all the hype from brand wars. One product will tell you how bio friendly they are or the other competitor questions, "what's the difference?" Which doggy bag dispensers to purchase? Which is cheaper per roll of bags? Do I really need to spend $xx a month on this or that $xxx a year when that can be paying for the Organic pet food? Or my Organic pet food? I'm talking about something you already own or bring home with you ever time you hit the shelves at the local produce isle. Yes, those Paper or Plastics! [As much as we'd all like to say no...there are other uses for them out there!]
My family did what every typical smart shopper does. As a family totally five, not to mention our Toy Manchester Terrier friend, we'd like to cut back costs in any department we shop while also supplying quality for myself, our doggy friend, and our beloved Earth. Our attempt is to not be ignorant about what we potentially might be doing to the earth with certain wastes. That is when we decided it was not worth the money to invest in disposable pet or even baby dispenser rolls for nasty diapers to a pile of poop left during our stroll in the park by yours truly. Here is a few basic idea's or tips. Feel free to do with it as you please. This might not always work for everyone. But remember, it is always great for one to attempt first before giving up! It can't hurt, right?
THE QUESTION STILL STANDS: "PAPER OR PLASTIC?" Read on....
OPTION #1: PAPER.
MEANING:
A material made of cellulose pulp derived mainly from wood or rags or certain grasses
* Kids have old brown paper bags from their lunches today? GREAT, use them. Invert the paper, hold with your hand to use it as a 'glove' to pick up waste. These will take less time to decay in our landfills while still using earth friendly products. Plus you've gotten two reuses out of this product! Think of it as your, "two for the price of one!" when it comes to shopping sales but Eco friendly!
* You can make two smaller bags to contain the mess in with only minor tape. Cut down the the whole bag to make two bags. Then use one of those sides to create a flat 'paper favor bag' which will be 1/2 the size from the regular bag size. That way you get three times the use of the bag. Plus one staple is all that's needed if you do it properly.

OPTION #2: PLASTIC.
MEANING:
Any of various organic compounds produced by polymerization, capable of being molded, extruded, cast into various shapes and films, or drawn into filaments used as textile fibers.
Objects made of plastic.
* You can cut the plastic bags into two for more use [regular sized grocery bags]
* Buy through bulk? Great. Use the bag by first pulling it inside out, put your hand on the outside part, scoop up the poop, then move up the sides so it all stays inside. Use the old twisty from the produce number to top it off! Double the use now.
* Produce isle bags also work perfect as a one time use for cleaning up the poop. Do the same, move the bag inside out around your hand, use your hand to physically pick up the feces just like you would with a regular pet deposit bag-viola! Toss at the next garbage you see. You can also flush the poop at a parks restroom then toss the bag or recycle the bag. Most bags are washed before remelted down during the recycled process. That way you put it back into the reduce, reused, then recycled.
